Instrument Dashboard
SynCon (Syngistix Console) is a web console for the PerkinElmer Syngistix ICP
instrument running on the remote machine (RM) — the Windows PC at 192.168.1.117, controlled via RDP. It lets you:
- Monitor the instrument — RM status, Syngistix state (Idle / Analyzing), results.mdb size and update time.
- Build and push sample sequences — name the run, pick a method (local or template), queue the unknowns, review the full run order (calibration & QC come from the method's Define Standards), then push the sample information file (.sifx) to the instrument PC — Syngistix loads it and starts the run automatically.
- Watch the run live — the Remote panel (noVNC) gives interactive mouse/keyboard; Live View shows screenshots.
- Review results — every run in results.mdb with its calibration curves and per-sample concentrations.
- Push to the LIMS — each push creates a "Sample Queue Push" notification on lims.chemistry.com.au (eLabFTW) with the queue PDF; when a run completes, the results are pushed as an "Analysis Results" experiment with a results PDF, and the dashboard shows the outcome (green OK / red failed) with a link to the experiment.
Shows the instrument PC status at a glance: whether the RM is running, whether
Syngistix ICP is up, the current status-pane state (Idle = no run in progress), and the
runs stored in results.mdb. Each run shows its outcome (green OK = results pushed to the
LIMS, red FAILED = the run failed) with a link to the LIMS experiment. The Push history
card lists every sequence pushed to the instrument, with its method, row count, run name
and LIMS start-notification link. Click a run name to see its calibration curves and
sample results. Auto-refreshes every 15 seconds.
